Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my issue. I'm fairly computer savvy, so I will have no problem following any instructions that may be offered here.

This is an on-going battle with an infection that occurred on this computer yesterday afternoon. I've spent several hours trying to rid it on my own, unsuccessfully. I have employed several different programs and methods, and all have yielded little to no results. The infections continue to re-spawn and re-infect.

To save time, I would like to link you to a thread I created on the SWI Forums yesterday afternoon. It is located HERE. In this thread, I've outlined all my actions, the symptoms of the problems, and the results of a number of different scans. And, as you can see, I also referred to this forum for help. I consulted this thread about the rdriv.sys problem, and followed the instructions in the third post down (those are the only instructions I followed in this thread).

As I logged back on to the computer again today, I was once again barraged with 4-5 alerts from AVG that the Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SdBot.185.BE virus is still present.

Considering there are recent HJT scans posted in the thread linked above, I'll spare them in this thread unless requested. I'd be happy to provide any other additional info that may be needed as well. I would greatly appreciate anybody who can help me out in any way here. Thank you very much.
