Uninstall mcafee.Restart the PC.You should be able to browse .Reinstall mcafee later

There was bug in mcafee update last week which caused network issues.Reinstalling and updating mcafee would solve it.

Could u also assist with how to stop the mcafee popups that won't go away on the laptop? I used to be able to drag them out of sight but not anymore...

Any of them but like the one right now "removable media drive detected"..the scan or don't scan don't work either...I have to reboot to get it to go away!

Post 22 has the minitool box link but I see no post of any log on it.
Again I can't guarantee what it will do.

GRRR, mcafee won't allow me to uninstall- it freezes and comes up blank???? Tried 3x's now!!

Oh hi everyone...I'll get back to u 2morrow after I try doing the rockmilk suggestion to remove mcaf...nothing's ever easy huh...let's all cross our fingers...
PS Naren-how do I see what the DAT is on my mcaf? I was going to try doing the workaround...

Well sad to say, I removed all mcafee but still unable to get online...I was able to get to system restore and tried to restore to an earlier date but it wouldn't work..Next suggestion
