Please help! I had a virus and followed the instructions to get rid of it. Now my computer is slow & has multiple errors, especially when I am online- Kernel32.exe?? I have scanned and rescanned it with several antivirus sites plus norton and no virus is detected. I think I may have deleted some files from the setup. I did try reinstalling Windows to correct the errors but I'm afraid I have just made a bigger mess. Here is my Hijackthis log. Any help would be so appreciated.

Hi Kate, welcome to GTG! <_<

The only thing I notice in your log is this:
C:\HCJ.EXE

Press Crtl+Alt+Delete on your keyboard. Select HCJ.EXE in the process list, and click the End Process button.

Delete this file:
C:\HCJ.EXE

Reboot, post a new log, and let us know how you system is working. :D
