Converting an ereader to a monitor.....?

Hello all,
I am a newbie here and am doing some amateur video production and need a monitor for my video while I am video recording. I was wondering if anyone here knows if it is possible to convert my Pandigital ereader into such a monitor? If so, could you please give me some advice on how to do so?
