Wanted to see if there were any other options before starting from scratch on this one

XP Home Addition: System boots to a blue screen REGISTRY_ERROR
Technical Info *** Stop: 0X00000051 (0X00000003, 0x00000003, 0X00000000, 0XE10f8000)

I get the same error in safe mode, last know good config, booting from CD running repair option, and under set-up, repair

Thanks

Have you tryed this yet:

http://support.micro...om/?kbid=307545

if not, give it a try. Only thing to consider: Do not use the procedure that is described in this article if your computer has an OEM-installed operating system.
