Hello all, I wonder if you guys might be able to help me.

Last week I spilt squash on my laptop keyboard :( the keys were all sticky underneath so I removed it from the laptop and attempted to clean it with meths and a air compresser.

That seemed to finish the keyboard off completley.

I ordered a new one off ebay and put it in, but spacebar, v and f didn't work. I asked them to send a new one out which they did, same problem.

I am using my laptop with a usb keyboard now.

Is the problem in the laptop or are the keyboards cheap and nasty?

I am pretty sure the squash didn't get to the computer it just got on the keyboard. I turned it off straight away and tipped it upside down so the liquid drained away from the electronics. Everything else on the laptop works.

It's a toshiba sattelite L650D. This is where I got the replacement keyboards: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1497.l2649
