If when you removed the Ram the error beep was more constant then it suggests that the problem may be elsewhere, this however is not conclusive.

Explanation, when the computer is attempting to complete the POST (power on self test) if it encounters a problem component the POST fails and where an onboard speaker is fitted an audible error beep is heard, if you hear two constant beeps with all sticks of Ram removed it suggests that the memory slots and sticks are ok and that the issue is with the MBs integrated video memory as this will also produce two error beeps.

Borrowing an add on video card and using a DVI adapter as suggested by iammykyl are the two options that I would suggest.

NB: You can purchase a pci type video card off ebay for a couple of £s and I always keep one for testing purposes such as this.

Thanks for the update.
Have you tried a DVI adapter, very cheap, and may help to determine the state of the integrated graphics.

the only ones i can find are the ones with the flat pin in the middle and the 4 around it, but where as the motherboard will only accept a flat pin in the middle. it's annoying haha
