Hi,

Recently My computer froze up and I couldn't restart it.. I waited for an hour, and it suddenly came back on, this time it redirected me to the bios screen.. and it indicated that my cpu overclocked (which I never touched before). So I removed the memory and cpu fan and put it back in.. then it loaded all the way to Windows...

When I tried running it for an hour.. then it froze up.. Now it freezes almost everytime (although it always starts up) sometimes it would even freeze up before windows starts to load.. (right when it is detecting the drives)

I'm listing the full specs of my computer...

its
300W Power Supply
pentium 4 2.7GHZ
p4S8X-X Asus Motherboard
80GB Maxtor HD
160 GB WD HD
Liteon CD/R Drive
Liteon DVD/R Drive
NViDIA GEFORCE 4 MX 440 AGP8X
512 MB DDR

can you see anything wrong with it? thanks

Its probably over heating. Try cool it down with more fans or upgrade your CPU fan and heatsink
