Not sure if im in the right place. I have Dell Inspiron M5040 with AMD E450 and everytime I try to view netflix on this laptop it just skips, freezes, the audio is still going and the picture is in delay..just not good. my daughter has a Toshiba Satellite with AMD E240 and it does the same thing. I researched the web and it says that Microsofts Silverlight doesnt work with AMD processors. So with this said is there any work around if this is true? I like to watch netflix now and again and I know my kids like to sit there and watch cartoons so kinda disappointing. Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

Hello TechyMom5
Are you using a broadband connection or dial-up?
Never used Netflix myself and so this suggestion is not specific to it, have you checked that Silverlight is enabled!
Go into the Internet Explorer options > on the programs tab press the manage add-ons button and ensure that Microsoft Silverlight is enabled there.
I hope this resolves the issue for you but let us know either way please.
