RAM, > http://www.newegg.co...8^20-231-548-TS

HDDs. Virtually no difference in performance, the WDs are noisier and more expensive.

Mobo. Find a board you like, add your own WiFi, > http://www.newegg.co...2E16833555008
All good brands, Gigabyte, Asus, Asrock.

Case, Don't know that one..

I look for, washable filters, fans front, back and top, controllable if possible.

I am not all that keen on coloured fans, but some of the best case come that way, in that price range, this is the one I would buy,

Hi.
Just checking in to see how you are going.
Decided on your parts?
Started to build?
If you have installed the OS, updated drivers? You should take a backup image of the OS drive and create a rescue disk before installing software.

Well for the most part its a slow process to get all of the parts as I am waiting for sales and such. I got a core i5 3570k for 179.99 and the AsRock z77 extreme 4 for 84.99 as a combo (total was 280 after tax for both) at Microcenter. For my case i still havent decided as it will be the last thing I buy, most likely just wait for a good sale of a Corsair Case, If I am lucky I will get the Corsair 600T (since it has filters everywhere, a window, plenty of room to build, solid quality/sturdiness, and large quiter fans). GPU I decided on EVGA GTX 670, PSU Corsair TX650W, ram I got a low profile corsair vengeance, CM Hyper Evo cooler, blu ray drive, etc. I hopefully will have it up and running by New Years :) Money's tight right now 0.o

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you are being sensible and patient.
Your choices all sound good. Let us know when you are about to build, you may have more questions.

Good luck.
