GE FORCE GTX 560ti settings

The problem I am having is in the vidio card settings in the control
panel.When I set the "extension limit" to "on" and select apply it
returns to "off" setting.This is a setting for older games that use ,opengl.
Cannot get it to stay on,thanks for any input.
