I want to install a program that is a 1.5 GB .iso image. Uncompressed the file is apparently 6.6 PB. Thoughts, suggestions?

No file is that big... hence my issue. I suspect it's corrupted or a coding issue making it appear as 6+ PB... hence I can't install as my computer cannot uncompress it.

What is the program itself and where did you get it from?

OK at 1.5 gigs compressed it shouldn't be more then 2.5 gigs uncompressed.
Have you tried to redownload it?

You might ask cool release also about the file and let them know what you are seeing. They may not be aware of a corrupted file in their system.

Please let me know what they say in their response. Something is not right because that is way to big for anything out right now.

Are you still having problems with your issue?
It has been 16 days since your last response and I was wondering if the issue has been resolved?
If so can you explain how it was resolved so others may be able to fix it if they have the same issue.
If not please let us know and we can continue with helping you to resolve the issue.

Sorry about that... I re-downloaded 2 or 3 more times with no luck - every file had the same issue. I went to the source, but no luck there and I got impatient trying to figure it out so I downloaded another version of the software.

I think the site mods need to take a look at that then. Until they straighten the file out you are stuck.
