Does anyone have Blueline running under Windows 8? I get an MSVCR71.dll error..."The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer." It isn't "missing", but it might not be where Blueline wants it do be. I ran an OTL script to find the DLL with these results.

For those who don't trust a dll download website, installing .NET Framework 1.1, then copying the file from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 works too.

Just follow the below steps to remove the MSVCR71.dll file missing error:

Step1: Go on the web browser and type MSVCR71.dll

Step2: You will get multiple websites to download MSVCR71.dll, choose any one of them and download the dll file.

Step3: Soon the system will get a zip file containing the dll file

Step4: Unzip it and copy the dll file.

Step5: Paste the dll file in location C:\Windows\System32

You are good to go and will not encounter any error.
