NAS - unable to locate with browser or modem

Hi. I have used computers (for word processing and web surfing) since 1986, but have never had formal training. I have built a WHS, and an HTPC, so training is moot (I operate my car but am not a mechanic).]

I have used an NAS200 by Linksys for 3+ yrs. Three days ago I had to reinstall Win7, and am now unable to get my NAS to be recognized by either my computer or modem (not sure which). I have a Linksys 610 modem on which I have made a static ip address for my NAS, but I am unable to get the NAS software or web interface to recognize the device. What can I do? I KNOW it works...as of 12/31/12, but on 01/01/13 I screwed up somewhere.

Is it an ip address that I need to release? If so, how do I get it back so that the system recognizes it sufficiently ti use it?

I have everything on it backed up, so not problems there. I just want to use it on my network again. Any advice would by GREATLY appreciated!
