This is because we reset the firewall.

I meant to ask which one shuold I check on? Private or public netowkrs or both?

I don't believe this is related to malware. My best advice would be to uninstall flash from the control panel and reinstall it from here.

I would also try playing the games in IE to see if the same problem happens in that browser.

Otherwise, it would probably be best to refer to the techs in the Software Forum. They can probably help you better than I in this area.

Maybe maybe not? I mean we did clear the virus that was getting annoying like the redirect virus?

The games are not related to browsers. They are games I buy on the store so it's weird that they would crash everything.

Gonna make a thread on the software forum.

Thanks for the help bro. You did what you could so I appreciate that.

Hi Ren12,

Sorry, I wasn't sure what you were asking. Private networks refers to a secure network, like your home network, while public networks refers to networks like a hot spot at a coffee shop. I would recommend always checking private for programs that you wan't to let through your firewall. Checking public is up to you, but I would not recommend checking it for any programs that send out sensitive date (like personal information).

Maybe maybe not? I mean we did clear the virus that was getting annoying like the redirect virus?

We cleared the redirect virus very early in the process. Th ESET detections were just remnants of an old infection, a bad chrome extension, and some unwanted programs. We took care of those as well.

I thought you were referring to online games. Uninstalling/reinstalling the games might help. Hopefully someone with more know about this will answer you in the other forum.

You're welcome. :)

It looked like we did clear it but could there be a chance that we might have not?

It's every game except for one. It would take too long and why would it effect the games only?

Yeah, hoping someone from the other forum will get to me but none so far.

Take care.

Ren12,

It is unlikely that your problems are due to malware. My teacher also confirms this point. Your problems could be due to some damage caused to your system by the infection we just cleared or by a prior infection. However, they are not due to active malware. I am really not suited to help you further as malware removal is my area of study.

If you are not getting any replies to your other topic, you could try posting in the Waiting Room. Please follow the directions at the top of the forum.
