When my son goes online he is bombarded with popups. Popup blocker doesn't work. Steps I have performed already;
1. Opened task manager to see if I could shut down different processes while online. There was a few entries never seen before. One being wtoolsS.exe, research said to get rid of it because it could be harmful to system.
2.Ran and updated Ad-aware, found over 200 entries. quaranteened the items.
3. Had my son to go back online to see if it happened again. YES..
4.Scan computer with Avg and ad-aware again. Avg didn't show anything but ad-aware still had some things coming up. So I fixed them again restarted computer. Went online still there.
5.This time I turned off system restore and performed adaware scan in safe mode. Restarted computer the stupid popups are still there. I am going crazy. I ran HJT and the log shows so many things am not familiar with, but I am not sure what to put a check mark next to fix. The logfile is long so I will wait until you ask for me to post it. I hope I posting this correctly, if not please excuse me. I am tired, I have been trying to fix his pc for 2 days.
Thank You so much for your time.

Do you still require help or are your problems resolved.

Please let me know and if you still require assistance, please post a fresh HJT log.
