Need help in getting back fast internet connection

Hi guys,

I have two computers (I will call them Computer A and B for easy clarification) at home. I use Computer B mainly to perform download and found recently that the connection speed has dropped drastically. I suspect my landlord has limit the internet connection of Computer B. I only require 2 hours daily to download all the files I need. If possible I prefer not to use Computer A to do my download lest my landlord limit the access to that computer as well.

I understand that this must have something to do with the router. I have tried changing the ip address, mac address as well as the host name but to no avail, I found no improvement in the connection speed. I haven't tried anything with TCP/IPv6. Therefore, if someone here could provide some advice I would very much appreciated. Thanking in advance.

On speedtest.net Computer A 1-3 Mbps while Computer B 0.1-0.5 Mbps.

I did as what you require me to perform but I got an error when generating the result.

The error message is :

Cannot find the Result.txt file.

Do you want to create a new file?

I chose Yes but I was prompted to Untitled - Notepad with a blank result.

So how?

Found why I got the error message. Need to run on my admin account.

These two days are getting worse for my Computer B, sometimes I can't see the wifi and if I do, I can't connect to it. My computer A is working perfectly fine.

Download CCleaner hit the tools button then the start up button and disable all items.
http://download.piri.../ccsetup326.exe

Do not use the registry cleaner off cleaner.
After disabling the start up items run the cleaner and reboot.

Open your Add remove Programs and un-install the items below.

Open your device manager then left click your network adapters then right click and select uninstall for your Lan driver and wireless drivers.

Select ok

When I try to disable these scheduler, I get this error:

Error changing item state: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

So I uninstalled any associated app with real player.

Ok now you need to head over to the malware removal forum and have your machine checked out I highly suspect malware on your machine.

If it is the malware that slows my internet connection I will probably just reformat my drive. I saved most of my data in another drive.

Now my computer B is getting weirder. For now, I couldn't connect to the wifi most of the time. Moreover, I do not see the wifi on my network list most of the time. I try connecting to my HTC wifi hotspot and it work perfectly fine. This makes me think that my Computer B is really being blocked by something.

Btw, when I connect to the internet via my HTC wifi hotspot, I get 7 Mbps on speedtest.net. So it is very unlikely anything to do with malware.
