I have a newish quad core with Win 7, runs great. I shut down each night and each fresh boot after Win7 opens then "My Computer" properties is displayed. i.e. C: D: F; drives and how full they are or how much free space they have. How Annoying! Every bloody morning!! Never had this before. Google searches turn up nothing useful. How can I stop this from starting each boot????
On old IT guy said there would be a box to uncheck in computer properties, but I can't find it.
If you can help this newbie here, I will be glad to help three others in return if I can.

Use msconfig to see if there is something starting at boot time that is causing this, or download Startup List 2.02 then unzip it.
Run StartupList.exe.
Click on File then Save as. Save startuplist.txt then open it. Copy and paste the content in a reply here please.
