Things started out simple enough after getting my computer back from having it restored from a nasty hijack virus. Unfortunately, there are lingering issues. I first notices when I attempted to use my computer on the home group that although it claimed to be part of one, it was actually not and could not "leave" the group it thought it was a member of. I tried deleting idstore, but it regenerates. I then looked into the system log and discovered several errors. First, I can't start service control manager due to a 7001 error. Oh, and NETBiOS over TCP/IP is missing from my list of non-PnP devices. There are a number of other errors, too. I am trying to attach an event log, but not having any luck.

Any help would be appreciated. I would at least like to share with my wife's laptop. She runs Windows 7 Home, and I run Windows 7 Ultimate.
