Hi...Could someone out there help me with this problem?
One day when i was using my laptop, the screen suddenly went black. But then i saw that it was actually very dim.I tried connecting the display to another monitor and it worked. Also my laptop shows that the battery is not charging and that i have too replace it.
SO i need to know whether the problem is with the inverter or my battery.

I tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30 secs but that doesnt work too.

Hello gillenq01

What happens if you remove the battery and use the notebook while it is connected to the AC adaptor and mains power.

How dim is dim as in black or grey for example.

A black screen could be the inverter but it could also be the backlight.
