It's a long shot but a slim chance is always worth trying to save the data.

That tells me the drive has failed completely. Replacement is the next step.

Yep since the drive mechanically appears to be dead. Short of a professional service which is costly and no guarantee they will be able to get much if anything.

The data it self I am afraid since the drive cannot be seen even using a Linux Live cd indicates the only option to retrieve the data is to have it professionally done. Personally to me this is to expensive since it can run into the hundreds if not thousands to have this done.

A miracle happened
I tried hooking that hard drive to my pc. and the pc read it.. and i was able to access the files. i copied a few of them.
The process was extremely slow. the transfer rate was 80kb/sec.
But when i tried it again, the pc recognized the hard drive but couldn't read it and said that i have to format it.

Yep it is failing. You might get lucky and get the data but for intensive purposes it has to be replaced.
It is good news that there still may be a possibility of getting the info. A trick you might try is to put the drive in the freezer for a bit and let it get really cold. try it then and be quick about getting the data.
