malware removal guide - for mac too?

hi. my sister's computer seems to have been infected. i've used this forum in the past to get my computer healthy with great success and i recommended that she check out geekstogo.com.
however, i have a pc. she's on a mac. would the malware removal guide and all be correct also for mac users?
