My lenovo y400 ideapad experiences WIFI connectivity issues frequently ( around once or twice a day or so )even when the internet is working normally for the rest of my devices . Although it stated that it is connected to my home network, the web pages just seem to be unable to load. This happens sporadically about once or twice a day, and the problem lasts between 5 minutes to even an hour. Sometimes a restart of the laptop or router would fix it, but most of the time it doesn't. I am guessing it is an incompatibility issue between my laptop and the router, but i am not really internet savvy so i would like to hear from experts here.

Laptop - Lenovo Y400 ideapad
Router - ASUS RT-N66U Dark Knight
Connection security - WPA2-PSK

If there is any other information i need to provide please let me know.

*Also, this problem only happens for my home network. I do not have such issues when connected to other networks.
