I ordered the Windows XP Serive Pack 2 CD from Microsoft on 08-25. They said wait 4-6 weeks for delievery. Well here it is 08-30, and my cd is already here. It should be more like 4-6 days. I think Microsoft just wanted to stress the need to turn on automatic updates buy saying it would take that long to ship. They recommended users turn in Automatic Updates to receive SP2. I say, if you're on dial-up, just order the cd. It'll be in your mailbox in no time. Also, if you visit Windows Update frequently (like at least twice a week), you don't even need to have automatic updates on (like me).
