Hi there,

This morning I went to open my flash drive (Lexar USB Stick). A message came up stating that the files were corrupted and could bot be opened (I suspect my wife removed without safely ejecting). After some research on the net I found some data recovery programs which seem to have done the trick, in a way, as I can now open the drive now but its saying the drive is empty but the space is showing up is used. Disk management shows that space is being used also. Where can I find my files?

Thanks!

Hi Rickycole :welcome:

Can you provide the name of the recovery programs you use?

Can you try this, press Posted Image and type cmd
now on the Command prompt type:
dir /A X:

Note: Replace the X with the drive letter corresponding to the USB Stick

Does the dir command list any files and folders?
