NEW HARDDISK, laptop wont boot

Hi

I have a laptop which dont boot after it fell down. I inserted a new harddisk, and then the laptop worked again, but now after a couple of days it will not boot ? Can you help ? I am a student and will be going to a very important test soon and i need my laptop. Help anyone plz

I fet a message saying: windows failed to start. A recent hardware og software change might be the cause

Did you make sure the hard drive was secure in its bay?

If you did then I suggest this hard drive is faulty also.
