Hi everyone,

I have used Easy Share Software for several years now & I like because it is easy. I have a new laptop which I would have liked to install this software onto it but I find that it is no longer available to download. Any ideas how I can get it or where from. I copied the files from one of my other laptops but couldn't get it to run.
Any information on this would gratefully be received.

Thank you,

Hello Les and welcome to Geeks To Go

What operating system do you have on the new laptop and is it 32 or 64 bit, to find out go into System in Control Panel.

In the meantime consider this.

There's 2 more ways you could do this.. 1st.. It would be possible to re-register the .dll files but to put the correct registry keys in the correct place, but this is very difficult and it would have to be in the correct place in the registry.. 2nd... Also if your Kodak camera came with a install disk and if it was for Vista and would work in Windows 7 under the Windows 7 compatible software setting, this should come up automatically while installing... I had to go thru this last December and it worked,a note here for some reason Windows 7 would not recognize my Kodak disk i had for a XP OS system.
