I also had the same issue. Granted I have had numberous viruses and trojans Hahaha. I just had to click the xxxx.exe and see if it actually would damage my system. ANYWAY. Just download the Messenger.msi (Windows Messenger 5.1) and install or use the Repair option then run the Uninstall option. Worked for me so far.
