Hopefully you are using a windows PC:

Start, All Programs, Accessories then (XP => Command Prompt, Vista/Win 7 => right click on Command Prompt and Run As Admin.) Type with an Enter after the line:

ipconfig


(Look for the default gateway. That should be the IP address of the router feeding your PC which I assume is what you mean by Virgin Hub)

A Virgin hub is indeed a combined Modem and Router Ron, I know because I've got one. :)
