Hi,

If I'm not mistaken they remove that option on recent versions of Google Chrome!
For Internet Explorer Microsoft have a FixIt and instructions to do it manually.

Hi,

there's no automated way to perform this, but I found this one:

If you're the only one Chrome user, you can try to remove user profile.
Go to settings -> users -> delete this user.
Maybe it will do, worked on previous versions of Chrome.

(haven't tried this, so I can't predict any other effects)

If you delete the profile you lose all the setting including Bookmarks unless you have everything in sync with google site.

I'm not a Chrome user, so I have no idea how difficult it is to personalize the settings. This may be the round about way of resetting the browser, but the bookmarks are easy to replace from a Xmarks personal online acct if you decide to uninstall Chrome then reinstall it. Here are the instructions on how to import/export the bookmarks from and to the browser(s).

Hi Donna,

Google Chrome have the function built-in you can use the google account to save the information its only a matter of configuration and select what to backup... Customize sync settings

I should have included this on my other post but at the moment I only intend to alert to the need of a backup *if the user really uses Chrome* sometimes it's only installed because was offered by some other program installation...

Hello

Open IE - - > Tools - - > Internet Options - - > Advanced - - > Reset

For Chrome follow the advice above.
