Hi there,

My friend's Toshiba laptop is running Windows 7 and its going very slowly; I was wondering if you guys could advise a clean-up and help me with the logs?

Cheers,

Hi there :)

Please provide some more information, what exactly system is running (32- or 64-bit, Home, Starter, Professional etc.), is it a laptop or a netbook?

Also let's have a look at it's startup:

Get autoruns by Sysinternals from here

Download, Save and Run the program by right clicking and Run As Admin.
Wait until it completes scanning. A notice Ready should appear in the left lower corner.
Go to File -> Save -> Filetype *.txt and name it somehow.

Attach the file to your reply.

Hi - thanks :)

It's a laptop: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit Operating System.

I can't attach the report; it's 2.51mb large. I've hosted it here: http://www.filedropper.com/autoruns

I can't see any attachment. Please do this one more time.

Don't edit your posts. I don't mind posting multiple ones if necessary :)

I've downloaded it, but it looks like a mess.
Are you sure you followed my instructions correctly?

Hi,

Hopefully this should be it. I've had to compress the original file into a .zip.

Hello,
as I told you in my PM, I was totally unavailable for nearly a month. I know it's a bunch of time, and I am very sorry about this.

Please let me know if you still need my assistance, I promise to do my best to help you :)
