ICS without changing LAN settings

I have a wifi capable computer at my desk at work connected to the company LAN with a static IP. I would like to share its internet connection to my tablet over with using ICS, however, at the end of ICS setup I get a popup saying the my LAN settings will change to 192.168.0.1. yet, my LAN connection will only work with that static IP. What im trying to do isnt exactly sanctioned by my companys IT dept so I cant ask them for help or anything. can anyone here help maybe?
