I think what I want is relatively simple, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I am currently using Resophnotes on my win 7 computer to sync my notes with Simplenotes. On my android tab and phone I use flicknote. Flicknote has encryption of individual notes, which is the very thing I want. However, I cannot put sensitive data in those encrypted notes because it syncs with simplenote, and comes unencrypited on my resophnotes on my windows computer. I want a way to encrypt individual files within resophnotes, or a Windows Simplenote syncing app that allows individual file encryption. Anyone aware of either option?

ok, so all of the software you listed are simplenote clients. Simplenote themselves admit that while you can encrypt the local database, it will not be encrypted in the cloud. this means that no matter what the local client offers, when it syncs to simplenote, it will be unencrypted. I've looked at several services, but at this time no one is offering cross platform support with cloud support for encryption.

Yeah, at this point my interest is not in encrypting SimpleNote on the cloud (Maybe I should be VERY interested in that :) ) But want to be able to encrypt individual notes in my computer database. To make it more interesting, I want it to be easily accessible and decryptable. I know, I am pretty demanding; my wife says so all the time
