I have a couple cd games written to operate on a 32 bit operating system is there a remedy where I can somehow change the operating system from 32 bit to 64 bit and be able to play games again. Knowing that these games are still being sold on disk. I tried to contact vendor about situation and never received any response. Thanks.

Hello jrelentless,

As far as I know it should not matter, just right click on the game icon after you set up and click on solve compatibility problems, and there you will have a list of older versions of Microsoft OS's. Please choose the version of the games are programmed for. (Assuming you are using Win 7 or 8 or at least vista)

I am still playing Age of mythology (which was for xp) and dungeon siege legends of aranna ( for W98) and have absolutely no problem at all.

However, in case it does not work, please follow the directions on the troubleshooting page linked below, it should help.

Installing 32-bit games on 64-bit

Please check out and update if everything is allright,

Take care
