The problem started a short while ago - when I go to google, I'm led to a page that says connection error. I've tried a number of web browsers, and it occasionally works on Safari, though rarely (I use google chrome as my primary browser). I've checked the problem and it seems to be a hijack virus. I've also tried different internet connections and different computers, internet isn't the problem. However, google works perfectly on other computers with the same internet connection. I use Mountain Lion. Help please.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. :)

I'm afraid we will be unable to assist you in this part of the forum because primarily it is for Windows based Anti-Malware support as are the specific tools we use.

You could ask in the relevant Operating Systems part of the forum though.
