The power switch does not seem to turn printer on. Nothing lights up & when the top of printer lifted, the ink cartridges do not move to center. Power cord tested on another HP printer so that is not the problem. Any suggestions on a fix? Thanks

Couple of questions if I may please;

Power cord tested on another HP printer so that is not the problem.

Was the present power module (AC adapter) also tested and working with the second HP printer.
Does your power module have a power LED on it and if so does it light up when it is connected to the present power outlet.
Have you tried connecting the printer to an alternative power outlet.

Possible causes include a failed power module, main/PCA board or the main logic board itself, none are a cheap repair and it would be less expensive to purchase a new printer as the prices are so low at present.
