Couple of questions if I may please;
Does your power module have a power LED on it and if so does it light up when it is connected to the present power outlet.
Have you tried connecting the printer to an alternative power outlet.
Possible causes include a failed power module, main/PCA board or the main logic board itself, none are a cheap repair and it would be less expensive to purchase a new printer as the prices are so low at present.

Was the present power module (AC adapter) also tested and working with the second HP printer.Power cord tested on another HP printer so that is not the problem.
