Some tips for first time builders.
Download the User manuals as they are often more up to date than those in the box and you can also familiarize yourself with them.

safety and anti static measures.You will find it easier to build if you proceed in this order.
Change the I/O shield in the case.
Check careful that the stand offs on the MB mounting plate match exactly the pattern and number of screw holes in the MB.
Then, working on a piece of cardboard a little larger than the MB.
Install the CPU, > heatsink/fan, (CPU fan plug to
CPU fan header on the MB.) > RAM, (correct slots from MB manual), > PSU, > optical/HDD/s, (leave the bay opposite the end of the PCI.e slot, for video card, empty, > install the MB.
Complete the rest of the build.
Check over the wiring. (MB requires
two power cables to enable successful Boot)
