I want to access files in another system which is around my place.how can i access files thro my system to that system.what are the network option should i follow?

If all the computers are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 you can create a Homegroup to simplify the File and Print sharing...
How To Disable or Enable the Homegroup Feature in Windows 7
