Hey guys, so I'm not great with computers and was wondering if you could help me. I recently got a MacBook Air and I really want it to last so I want to avoid viruses as much as possible. On the other hand, I want to be able to download music, but I can't afford to buy it all. I have an old laptop and I was wondering, if I downloaded the music on that laptop, then put the files on a usb stick and transferred them to my macbook, could that give my Macbook a virus? Thank you

arich,

We can't help you with this request. According to our TOU, which you agreed to when you joined the site:

The posting of links or references to warez or any other type of illegal software is strictly forbidden. By doing so you risk having your user account terminated without warning. We will NOT help anyone we suspect of having obtained their software or services illegally.

This applies to illegal downloads of music as well. The only recommendation we will give you is to obtain your music legally. I'm closing this topic.
