Your Microsoft® Windows® 2000-based office network has three domains: ALPHA, BETA, and OMEGA, all in the same Active Directory tree.

Required result: You must provide access to some users with accounts in the ALPHA domain to some resources in the OMEGA domain, but users in the OMEGA domain should not have access to resources in the ALPHA domain.

Optional result: If possible, changes to the ALPHA users’ accounts should be reflected in the accounts they use to access OMEGA resources.

Proposed solution: Add the ALPHA users to a global group in ALPHA, and add that group to a local OMEGA group that has permissions to the required resources. Based on your goals and your actions, determine which of the following statements
is true and explain:

• You accomplished both your required result and your optional result.
• You accomplished your required result, but not your optional result.

First and foremost, welcome to Geeks To Go's forums! I hope you stick around after we've assisted you in resolving this issue, as there is a lot of great members and information available on Geeks To Go's site. Now that the pleasantries have been said, let's take a look at your issue and see what we can do to resolve it!   WARNING: Course Work Found
  • Though this is more of a personal item than a Geeks To Go Terms of Use (TOU) breach, I refuse to help you with your IT 240 course work. As you can see from the following links, this is obvious course work: [list]
  • HERE.
  • or HERE.
  • or HERE.
It is under my recommendation that you do your own course work, even just Googling bits and pieces has brought me to an answer on four different sites as well. You want to get into IT? Learn to utilize Google and be prepared to spend HOURS searching for the right answers. To this day, although I hold prestigious jobs in the IT field - I spend HOURS upon HOURS doing research and studying for more certifications and such.
