The computer I have is a Sony Vaio laptop VPCF13Z1E and the operating system is Windows 8.

I have a Sony RM-MCE30E TV-style remote control for use with the laptop. However, I can't work out how to use it? I've tried to point and click it when I've got both Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center working (the remote has got the Windows Media Player logo on it), but it doesn't work; I'm sure it requires some kind of configuration.

I have gone through the manuals for the computer at http://www.sony.co.u...13Z1E_B/manuals but there are no instructions on how to set-up the remote control.

Thank you.

Hi Azma

I could not find anything about that remote, checked the Sony remote control help site http://esupport.sony...pl?PRODTYPE=32' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>Here. Was unsuccessful at obtaining any valid or useful information about it.

Joe :)
