Hi

A problem started about a couple of months ago whereby whenever I have an excel file open and after finishing with it and saving it for e.g , when I close the program 'x' after about 10 secs for no reason Excel will just restart itself with a blank worksheet, if i close it down again it closes for good?

Word doesn't do this , I have looked on other forums and a suggestion was to place a 'x' on the taskbar but this doesn't work.

Can't find any over help on this matter.

As I say it's not the worksheet that reopens but the actual program itself.

Thanks in advance.
