I recommend you uninstall Hitman Pro. It has a bad habit of removing malware incorrectly and leaving the PC unbootable.

Thanks! It was just the trial version, so I removed it immediately after, as well as Adware. I seem to be OK now. Looking into how to update safely in the future, as that seems to be a huge problem for me. Used to be obvious when and where to uncheck toolbars and whatnot, but developers have gotten trickier, and getting fooled twice is embarassing!
