hi
my CPU usage is almost always at 100% how do i stop this as it is so slow.
i want to be able to watch games and videos with out crashing.
my internet is good so that isn't the problem as it works on my bros PC.
i have 5GB of ram
22.8 GB free of 152 GB on my local disk

so do i need to get more ram or better hard drive?
could i have multiple hard drives?
and would an external hard drive help at all?

You need a disk cleanup and a virus/malware scan to remove infected files to start with. This may be all your problem is.

Ok, that's done. I'm thinking you need more space on your drive so I guess you need a bigger drive. Your CPU is probably working its butt off swapping between the memory and the drive because of small space. That may be what's slowing your system down.

Also how's your temps? Ever done a case cleanout?

Hi,

You should start a new thread on the Malware Removal section of the forum to have your computer checked by a Malware specialist. There are several bad programs out there that the Antivirus programs will miss.

Before you post please read Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide starting from Step 2.

After you get a clean bill of health you can return to this thread if the problem hasn't gone.

Yes OTL will not do nothing to your system it's a Scan tool that generates a log to allow the malware expert to see what is in your system.

Now you have to wait for a reply...
