Hello,

A friend of mine Interviewed her Uncle for an Oral History Project we are doing for a Museum on a Digital Recorder. She gave it to me to listen to so I connected the Recorder to an USB port on my computer and it Opened the file in iTunes, which was called Zoom003, there were 7 files so I listen to all of them and they worked fine. Now I gave the recorder to someone else and no longer have the Recorder and now when I try and open the file in Itunes it gives me the following message "The Song "Zoom003" (or any of the Zoom files) could not be used because the orginal file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" Now I clicked on Locate it and it opened in a Window and it says it is showing me the System32 file (have no idea where to look in here).

Now I tried to Right click on the file and see what it says and I saw "Properties" and click on that and it opened a Window that said "iTunes" at the top left corner. Now it says "Short Cut" for Zoom003. The target location is K:\Stereo\Folder01\ZOOM003.WAV. Now on the Start In line it says K:\Stereo\Folder01. Now in the Short Cut Key, says NONE, then the last line says, Run "Normal Window.

Now I am thinking I need to get the Recorder back and that is the only way it will play these files or is there a way I can listen to these files some how?

Now I am 66 years old but have been working on computers since the 90's and can get around a computer ok, but this is WAY over my head. I am just hoping to be able to open these files or just this one without trying to get the Recorder back from the other person, they live a long way away about 75 miles and I just do not have time right now to get it back from them.

I sure hope you understand what I need and please ask me any questions and I will try my best to answer you.

Thanks so much and you helped me before (years back and I always recommend your site)and I was able to fix my problem when I had a problem.

Thanks again,
