I have an Acer laptop with Windows 7. I have recently switched to Rogers internet. Since then I am not getting internet connection in my house. The modem is on upstairs and I live in the basement apartment. I get internet connection only when I am around the modem. However, my other devices like phone and tablet get wifi connection even in the basement. Even the guests can easily get internet connection at my basement!!! It's only the laptop loses the connection when I move away from the modem. I have tried all the basic measures needed to consider at the first hand, like restart, modem on/ off. I have contacted with Rogers and they confirmed their signal is fine.

Hi there!!

I have done as per your suggestion and still no luck. I restarted laptop after the installation and then again unplug modem and connect back. Nothing happened!!!

Yeah the tool does nothing on its own except flush your dns I need to see log please.

You mean the note pad info that appeared after installation? If yes, that's gone!!!

Open your device manager hit the start button then right click on computer then select properties then select device manager.

In device manager, click the View menu and select Show hidden devices

Then hit view again and select devices by connection.
