I am going to the States for a 2 week on a road trip and would like to purchase a Sat nav that has the ability to pre-plan my selected route on a PC and then transfer it to the sat nav.

Given its a 2 week road trip and I will be planning to visit loads of sites I would also like the ability to attach pre-recorded voice files of myself to the destination with some facts about the site so it jogs my memory and a can make the most out of it.

Does anyone know of a Sat nav that can do this? Are there a particular band of sat nav that is known to have the ability to program/write programs easily for? Price is not to much of an issue if i can get both of my desired features from it but of course, the cheaper the better!
