any help will be greatly appreciated! I have a dell inspiron N7010 ,that initially had windows 7 O/S before my son was trying to "hack" into my laptop attempting to break my admin password HD pass word...even figited with BIOS . Now I turn on my Dell and get messge,,, no operating system found,only disk was able to find was dell drivers disk.HOW DO I BOOT WNDWS 7 oS WITHOUT RECOVERY DISK ONLY HINT GIVEN WERE BOOT MANAGER PARTION AND LAPTOP ONLY RUNS SYSTEM DIAG.

Have you checked in the BIOS that the boot drive/partition is enabled.

Let us know if there is data on the HDD that you would like to try and back up before you do anything further.

Only if there is no important data on the HDD and you have not done so already check if using the Dell Recovery Partition is an option, details here
