Hey guys & gals :)

I use an open source plugin called Disconnect. to keep trackers at bay. Usually I have about 5-15 trackers for a website. But, when I'm using G2G I have 250 - 100 trackers detected! Almost all Google Trackers. Can you check if this is bug for the add-on? Or is it only for me. Can you try the add-on & verify?

Thanks!

Hi Babbzzz,

Just installed Disconnect into my Firefox browser. I'll let you know the results I get.

Whoa! While on GTG I just had 327 google requests found under Content if you click on the D in the toolbar area.

Does that mean that GTG is a popular search on Google?

Why is the Content category grey? ↑

By default, we do not block third parties that are critical to the delivery of content to a web page. However if you’d like to block content third parties on the site you’re visiting, simply click the Content category and it will flip to green, indicating that content third parties are being blocked.

From Disconnect.'s FAQ. I'm not sure what to make of it though? Third party content on G2G by Google? Blocking them disrupts the page.
