Can't Load Certain Websites

Recently certain websites I try to access don't seem to load. The first time I noticed was when I tried to access wikipedia. After turning off my computer and modem for the night, when I turned them back on I could access wikipedia, but now other websites don't work.

I'm not sure if this is a malware issue, because I've performed a full system scan and I haven't found anything, also this problem seems to affect other computers on my network. After plugging my modem directly into my computer I figure it may be the fault of my modem rather than my router, but I can't seem to access it's settings when I type it's address into the address bar, it simply displays a "This page can’t be displayed" message.

Any help fixing this issue would be appreciated.

Hello Yorozuya,

Sorry for the delay in my response. I hope I can still help you with your issue? :)

Please download SINO by Artellos.
  • Save SINO to a place you can remember and run SINO.exe. (If you downloaded the ZIP version you will need to extract it first)
  • Then please check the following checkboxes:
    System Info
    Ipconfig
    Ping
    Hosts file
    Routing Table
  • Once checked, hit the Run Scan! button and wait for the program to finish the scan.
  • A notepad window will pop up. Please copy all of the content into your next reply.
Note: If you try to interact with the program once it’s started scanning it might appear to hang. The scan however will continue.

Regards,
Olrik

I'd like to point out at that I'm now able to connect to all the sites I've tried recently, but I'm still unable to access my modem.

Usually the modem is not accessible by the customers. But that is depending on your ISP. I wouldn't be bothered much if your modem isn't accessible by you. After all, the modem is the "Modulator/Demodulator" that puts your data into electronic signals that can be shipped over the wires and is almost always the responsibility of your ISP
